Historic Renovation of the Diehl House

The Diehl House Restoration

Hudepohl Construction Company, a residential and commercial builder, hired Courts Building Systems for a highly detailed historic renovation of the Diehl House, Marge Schott’s childhood home and the centerpiece of the Bicentennial Park in Green Township. Marge Schott was the managing general partner, president, and CEO of the Cincinnati Reds from 1984 to 1999.

Highlights

  • Built in 1835, the house had fallen into disrepair
  • Repairs for new mechanicals required replacement of walls and ceilings
  • Restoration of original plaster
  • New addition for kitchen and restrooms
